Only the few wanderers home to the existence of iron are even aware of us. A scary thought, that at night I'll exploited in this way ...
The story is told from the point of view throughout the main protagonist flora. Initially I had a problem though, really get into the story. With an increasing journalism awards number of pages, however, this has completely dissolved and then I came to my hoped-reading experience! The love story is of course journalism awards clearly in the foreground, but also the friends of dark secrets, other worlds and surprising twists come to their taste. To my mind the gloomy atmosphere Eisenheim's is very, very well described. Interestingly, I also found the idea to incorporate many famous buildings of large cities in the real world. The best I liked about Eisenheim the art district. Total Eisenheim was described very figuratively. Well done!
Again to return to the love story. I wish there actually reveal only so much that you can learn this from the point of "so close and yet so far" and progressively gets plenty of natural backgrounds, which is why some seemingly illogical behaviors initially are now rounded.
Flora is, after she sees shadowy figures suddenly, totally confused. Until now she had led a more or less normal life. But now she is literally swept overnight into a completely foreign world. After initial problems, it is always better in the parallel society rightly and acts confident.

Linus did honestly sorry. Everyone probably knows how it is when feelings are not reciprocated. Or Linus still manages to regain Flora? I found this character very likeable.
"City of illusions and shadows" is a really great book with a very good idea. The book will delight journalism awards all for a balanced mix of excitement, surprises and love provides the best reading experience. journalism awards For the more exciting scenes a little more space might have been. But this book, I can give good conscience 4 books. I'm journalism awards looking forward to the continuation of the "shadow world trilogy".
