I can not say what exactly it was ... but something was missing in the Ruby series, which this book apparently already vma nominees has! (Although I must say that I found the continuation of the ruby-series better than the first installment of the trilogy, and whether Mechthild glasses because even with part two and three because one can persuade me to be so yet proven) Sure, this also has book as a few small weaknesses and there are side characters before, now really remain rather superficial. Even at the end, many questions remain open, but that's not unusual in a trilogy-opener. I really liked the first three volumes very much. And although I often have a problem with the last volumes and City of Glass I was hardly surprised by the action here, I loved this book. Everything important has been completed and so that I was very happy with it. Why do you write then as a writer, I asked myself?

Rating System A book that has absolutely nothing that I see as desirable. Does not a man should be abolished. The book has very big flaw, which can not be overlooked even with good will. It was not a complete waste as the books, 25th anniversary rock and roll hall of fame I had to but still through "torture" for some reason. There has been quite fun for me to read the book. Often the books are here, that lack originality, which have logic errors that could not meet my high expectations or for whatever reason just could not grab me. A fantastic novel with a good idea and likeable characters, which I enjoyed very much. But there are also either very small little things that bothered me or the book simply lacks the wow factor. This book has it all, what a novel does in my opinion. It's exciting, emotional tears with, has great characters and a particular idea. Books in this category are among my favorite books!
