This afternoon our time are released nominations for the award of this year's Primetime Emmy Awards grammy awards live (63rd). Nominations picked up a commercial HBO (104) primarily due to 21 nomination for the mini-series grammy awards live "Mildred Pierce," while they themselves are a series of concerns led AMC's "Mad Men" with 19, "Boardwalk Empire" with 18 and "Modern Family" with 17 nominations.
If we compare this with the previous nominations, what I mostly stuck in her eye is the absence of Neil Patrick Harris in the category of Best Supporting Actor (grrrr ... can not touch Barney Stinson), "True Blood" for best drama series and "Glee"-a code ... so let's say a lot. Also critically acclaimed series "The Walking Dead" can be found only in the less-exposed grammy awards live categories, unlike last season some (shall be nameless) series, "Brothers & Sisters" received only one nomination (not to mention the "SGU" whose completion ends one historical period of my very dear SF series), and my fantastic grammy awards live "Southland" (with Shawn certainly deserving Hatosyjem) and after three seasons remains almost unrecognized by the voters. "Chuck," "Fringe" and hilarious "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (do not worry, I will interject here and "Gossip Girl," I am aware that it leaves the best artistic impression: D - because there PCA)? It is better not to even comment on. Shame on them!
But there it is, Americans are strange people - nothing new. And what sort of happened (surprise, surprise: D) that I could not see enough of that from the list of nominees (which for those important categories can be seen below or in full by clicking on the link to the official site for an Emmy), I'll grammy awards live try for more (not) whining. Instead, I'll just point out a few new names (compared to last year), which is nice (again) to see. So, Timothy Olyphant, Martha Plimpton, Mireille Enos, Josh Charles, Alan Cumming, Michael J. Fox FTW! (As I said, quite objectively: D).
Who will the nominees this year finally come out as a winner, we'll find out on Sunday 18 September, during the show hosted by herself nominated Jane Lynch (aka Sue Sylvester bad from "Glee"-a). Until then we are left with just browsing the list, lots of speculation, holding fingers in a little unlikely winners and hope that next year will be more receptive to an unjustifiably omitted names. Yes, I know (yeah, right), but in the hope of a rescue. ;)
